Packing List for June Camp 2017

Items Overnight Campers Should Bring:

Camp Kateri official camp shirt(s) marked with child’s name (You will receive these on Sunday night at Orientation)

One piece bathing suit, goggles

Sun screen, towel, sunglasses, and hat, cap or visor

Pillow, linens (Twin size bed) & blanket or pillow and sleeping bag

Insect repellent spray

Flashlight

Tennis Shoes

Towels, wash clothes, bath soap, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brush and other personal items

Money for the Canteen (Canteen will have a few snacks and other camp items)

All Clothing, towels, any valuable items should be clearly marked with the child’s name.

Please note-this year laundry services will only be provided for camp shirts.

Overnight tip: For those campers packing to stay overnight at camp we have found it easiest to pack each day clothes in a Ziploc bag (gallon size) labeled with the date. This makes morning routine quick and easy for the campers.

 

Camp Daily Themes:

This year for camp we will have three themes days in which we would love for the campers to dress up and participate in.

Themed clothes for each day theme:

Monday: Camp Kateri is crazy from our head down to our toes!- Wear your craziest socks and craziest hat or craziest hair.

Tuesday: Color War Day (We will send an email informing you of what color your child will need to wear)

Thursday: Tiki Thursday- Come dressed in your greatest luau attire. EX: Hawaiian shirts, leis, ext.

Items the Campers Should Leave Home

  • All electronic devices – laptops, hand held electronic gaming devices and cell phones. If a camper brings these they will be taken away and held for them until the end of camp. Campers needing to call home will use Rosaryville’s land phone lines.
