Day of Prayer with Sr. Pat Thomas, OP
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
DECEMBER 12, 2017
Advent is a time of anticipation, but do we really know what it is that we are awaiting? This time away from the usual holiday craziness will ask us to look at the real things we are waiting for in our lives.
We will start at 9:00 AM with coffee and fellowship. The talks begin at 9:30 with discussion and quiet time for reflection. Lunch will be served at noon. The cost of the day is $35.00. The day will include the celebration of the Eucharist and will conclude at around 2:30 PM.
Sr. Pat Thomas, OP, a native of Newark, OH, is a Dominican Sister of Peace. She holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies with a concentration in Preaching from Aquinas Institute of Theology and has completed course work for a Master of Divinity.
“Currently, Sister Pat is a member of the staff of the Peace Center founded in New Orleans by the Dominican Sisters of Peace. The center is an outreach ministry serving the Gert Town and Marlyville neighborhoods in Uptown.”
